Colegio de Dagupan now a Smart Partner School

SMART Chief Wireless Advisor Orlando B. Vea and Colegio de Dagupan President Voltaire P. Arzadon (second and third from left respectively) formalize their partnership under the Smart Wireless Engineering Education Program (SWEEP) with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement.  With them are (from left) SMART Network and Platforms Services Division Senior Manager Roger Flores and Colegio de Dagupan Executive Vice President Loreta Arzadon.  Also in photo are  (standing, from left) SMART NPSD Senior Manager Joey Bongco and Colegio de Dagupan College of Engineering Dean Jose Magleo III.  Colegio de Dagupan, which started in 1984 as a computer-electronics training center, was granted a deregulated status by the Commission on Higher Education in 2009, and now enjoys a reputation as among the schools in northern Luzon with a strong program in Accountancy, Electronics Engineering and Education, as reflected in the high passing percentages during the Board and Licensure exams.  Colegio de Dagupan joins 39 other ECE schools nationwide that benefit from SWEEP’s continuing education component that includes the latest industry updates and technology trainings to produce telco-ready graduates.
