Smart Lab in De La Salle Canlubang

The De La Salle Canlubang (DLSC) recently inaugurated a wireless laboratory installed by Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) in its campus as part of an agreement under the Smart Wireless Engineering Education Program (SWEEP).

Maridable.  Aside from the provision of a wireless lab, SWEEP also includes a continuing education program for faculty and students, delivered by Smart’s own engineers and industry experts; a chance for partner schools to develop and win prizes for innovative applications development via the annual SWEEP Innovation and Excellence Awards; a venue to exchange ideas and network with partner schools via www.smartsweep.ph; assistance to qualified students via a technology scholarship; and a foot in the door to the telco industry via Smart’s recruitment program.

SWEEP was launched in 2003 to help raise the level of technology and engineering education in the country, particularly in the field of Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE).
